Será importante también llevar un registro correcto y oportuno del avance y evolución del paciente que ha sido sometido
a la terapia transfusional de PC, desde el día 0 de la administración, hasta el día 12 o 14, o hasta que el paciente sea dado
de alta.
Clínicamente se podrá valorar la capacidad pulmonar del paciente, revalorar la sintomatología esperando una mejora
signicativa, y la aplicación de la escala de SOFA al menos una vez al día. En el aspecto paraclínico, se podrá valorar
mediante valores de IL-6, PCR, transaminasas, LDH y recuento linfocitario. (Ministerio de Sanidad del Gobierno de

CONCLUSIÓN
La terapia con plasma convaleciente es una inmunoterapia adaptativa clásica, que se ha aplicado a la prevención y el
tratamiento de muchas enfermedades infecciosas durante más de un siglo. Es así que la evidencia actual disponible
coincide que las manifestaciones clínicas y los criterios paraclínicos mejoran rápidamente en 3 días con el PC. El examen
radiológico muestra diversos grados de absorción de las lesiones pulmonares en 7 días. Estos resultados indican que la PC
puede servir como una opción de rescate prometedora para COVID-19 grave.
