Revisión del estado del arte sobre concreto autocurativo con nanosílice: avances y aplicaciones de inteligencia artificial

El agrietamiento del hormigón representa una de las amenazas más críticas para la integridad estructural y la sostenibilidad de la infraestructura civil, dado que las microfisuras facilitan el ingreso de agentes agresivos que aceleran el deterioro y elevan sustancialmente los costos de mantenimiento a lo largo del ciclo de vida de las estructuras. Este estudio presenta una revisión sistemática de la literatura conducida bajo los lineamientos PRISMA 2020, sintetizando 64 estudios arbitrados publicados entre 2019 y 2025 en cinco bases de datos científicas de reconocimiento internacional — Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar y PubMed —, con el objetivo de evaluar de manera crítica el papel combinado de la nanosílice (NS) y los polímeros superabsorbentes (SAPs) en sistemas de hormigón autocurativo, así como la contribución de la inteligencia artificial (IA) y el aprendizaje automático (AA) a su optimización. La evidencia sintetizada demuestra que la NS, en dosificaciones óptimas de 1.5% a 3% en peso de cemento, mejora consistentemente la resistencia a la compresión entre un 9.7% y un 31% respecto a mezclas de control, mediante la amplificación de geles C-S-H por reacción puzolánica, la densificación de la zona de transición interfacial y el sellado de microfisuras en condiciones de exposición a la humedad. El sistema binario NS–SAP resuelve de manera efectiva la compensación entre resistencia mecánica y capacidad autocurativa inherente a los sistemas con SAP únicamente, alcanzando eficiencias de autocuración de hasta el 100% bajo condiciones de inmersión en agua y una recuperación de resistencia mecánica del 26.9% tras 180 días de exposición en cámara húmeda. Entre las arquitecturas de IA evaluadas, los sistemas de inferencia neuro-difusa adaptativa (ANFIS) y los modelos de árboles potenciados por gradiente demostraron la mayor precisión predictiva, con valores de R² de hasta 0.98 y errores cuadráticos medios inferiores a 2.1 MPa para la predicción de resistencia a la compresión. Los hallazgos posicionan el marco NS–SAP–IA como una estrategia técnicamente robusta y ambientalmente prometedora para el desarrollo de sistemas de hormigón sostenibles de alto desempeño, aunque la validación estructural a escala real y el desarrollo de bases de datos de referencia estandarizadas permanecen como prioridades críticas para la investigación futura.
