INSTRUMENTOS DE VALORACIÓN PSICOLÓGICA EN PACIENTES DIAGNOSTICADOS CON CÁNCER

Introducción: El cáncer, una de las enfermedades no transmisibles más significativas a nivel mundial; ya que, acarrea diversas repercusiones en la vida del paciente, especialmente en el aspecto emocional. Objetivo: Identificar la evidencia científica que existe con respecto a los diferentes instrumentos de valoración psicológica en pacientes diagnosticados con cáncer. Métodos: Revisión de alcance que se realizó siguiendo las recomendaciones metodológicas del Instituto Joanna Briggs, y de la guía PRISMA ScR para la elaboración del informe Se realizaron búsquedas sistemáticas en tres bases de datos y de literatura gris y, para la selección de los estudios se utilizó el software Rayyan Systems. Los datos extraídos se analizaron mediante un análisis cuantitativo básico y un análisis de contenido cualitativo de tipo deductivo. Resultados: Se identificaron 30 estudios que cumplieron con los criterios de elegibilidad; todos los instrumentos recopilados presentaron medidas psicométricas aceptables para ser aplicados en pacientes oncológicos y medir trastornos de ansiedad, depresión, deliro, estrés y adaptación al cáncer y que se agruparon según las categorías del DSM-5. Conclusiones: Esta revisión destaca la importancia de la evaluación psicológica en pacientes con cáncer y proporciona una guía útil para seleccionar los instrumentos adecuados.
