Abstract

The productive, social, environmental and economic indicators maintain a relationship with the agricultural production systems since it depends on them to achieve sustainability, under this part the objective was to evaluate the sustainability of six farms in the Province of Tungurahua, for this the methodology was used: "Evaluation Framework of Management Systems Incorporating Sustainability Indicators" (MESMIS) "which allowed specifying the socioeconomic, financial and ecological parameters of the 6 production units analyzed in the area, with this study The main strengths and weaknesses in relation to sustainability were obtained, 5 economic indicators were analyzed, 4 environmental indicators, 6 social indicators and 4 technical indicators. As a result, large companies manage to meet the indicators, medium-sized companies have a lower result and sustainability problems
