Main Article Content
Abstract
With the confinement caused by the Covid 19 pandemic, the interest in acquiring more information about the benefits of digital platforms for learning different educational subjects, especially those which are difficult for students to understand, has increased. Mathematics is one of the most complicated subjects to assimilate for students by the simple fact of working with numerical operations is for this reason that it is necessary to acquire more information about the subject mentioned due to the weak information we have about the benefits or shortcomings of using this digital platform in the learning of this subject. For this reason, the present research work had the objective of determining the influence of the digital tool Microsoft Teams in the learning of Mathematics, for which a quasi-experimental design was used at an exploratory level with a qualitative-quantitative approach based on the survey technique. Subsequently, the Technological Acceptance Model (TAM) was applied to check the level of acceptance of the Teams platform by the students. For the results, the chi-square statistic was applied through which the alternative hypothesis was accepted: The Microsoft Teams digital tool contributes to the learning of mathematics. With this it was concluded that the population studied has a good level in the mastery and use of the mentioned tool, which favors teamwork, improves their initiative in class and allows them to do their work more quickly.
