Abstract
Ultrasound cervical canal length measurement by vaginal route is a test that is frequently used in the prediction of the risk of spontaneous preterm birth in women at high risk. An analytical, prospective study was carried out to allow the validation of cervical length measurement to identify pregnant women at high risk of spontaneous pre-natal labor entering the Ambato Provincial Teaching Hospital, which will allow the early application of a preventive treatment for childbirth Premature spontaneously, or vice versa, to save on unnecessary treatments and hospitalization.
