Nursing Diagnosis: A Complementary Approach to Patient Care
Main Article Content
Abstract
The nursing process is the fundamental pillar of healthcare. It is a systematic process consisting of five stages: assessment, diagnosis, planning, execution, and evaluation. This process allows us to establish trusting relationships with our patients, helping them feel more secure and capable of facing their illness. In this process, we use the NANDA, NOC, and NIC taxonomies, which, being standardized, enable the use of a common language, facilitating communication, research, and continuous improvement of practice.
