This article provides a comprehensive view of oncological palliative care in pediatric patients, highlighting the importance of comprehensive and multidisciplinary care to improve quality of life in this vulnerable population. Palliative care focuses on providing comprehensive support to children suffering from cancer and their families, with the aim of improving their quality of life and relieving both physical and emotional suffering. Unlike curative treatment, palliative care focuses on control. of symptoms, pain management and emotional support, providing a holistic approach to the child's well-being. The objectives of the review were to analyze the various intervention modalities in oncological palliative care that adapt to the specific needs of pediatric patients and to describe the influence of palliative care on the quality of life of patients and their families. Materials and methods: a systematic review of the literature was carried out, of scientific articles from the last 5 years in both English and Spanish, 15 bibliographical references were selected taking into account their veracity and impact. The results obtained suggest that the adequate implementation of palliative care in pediatric cancer patients significantly improves quality of life. The combination of pharmacological and non-pharmacological strategies proves to be effective in controlling symptoms, while emotional and social support contributes to the general well-being of the patient and their family.
