Abstract

The methodology proposed in this article emerges as a contribution to the Venezuelan agri-food industry, with the purpose of starting up the operations of balanced feed production plants for animals, more specifically for pigs. This work was part of an applied research, supported by a non-experimental field design; a survey of information was carried out using the bibliographic review technique complemented with semi-structured interviews with different professionals in the area of ​​interest. For the conformation of the methodology, the matrix of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats was used, as well as the definition of the different perspectives of the Balanced Scorecard and it ends with the application of the project management process groups and areas of associated knowledge. The most relevant result was obtained from the different phases of the methodology in question.
