Case Report: Sigmoid Drilling by Foreign Body

Abstract
Introduction: The foreign body in the recto-sigma is a rare pathology with multiple causes, being varied in its shape, size and nature; in the vast majority this is solved by an expontanous outlet and its correct vigilance, but at the same time there are several complications such as intestinal obstruction, infection and perforation which will lead to emergency surgical treatment. The rectal pathway is the main cause of findings of foreign bodies followed by the oral route second and thirdly with low frequency the migration of neighboring organs by various causes such as the presence of fistulas.Thus that few patients admit the introduction of objects anally, the medical professional should suspect the presence of pelvic pain, low abdominal pain and perineal pain; in addition to the presence of proctorragia, and to the palpation that may or may not be the presence of abdominal mass, all this corroborating a history in the medical history that may be incongruous and non-specific and the patient is unconcotive.
Objective: Describe the surgical clinical approach of a patient with sigmoid perforation by foreign body.
Material and methods: Retrospective descriptive study, clinical case presentation of sigmoid perforation by foreign body.
Results: The clinical case of a patient admitted to the health home is described, by the presence of abdominal pain accompanied by an abdominal mass to palpation, the presence of a rectal foreign body is diagnosed and emergency surgery is performed, evidenced in the surgical act presence of foreign body (plastic bottle) with sigmiodea perforation with extraction by site of the perforation.
Conclusions: Foreign transanal bodies are relatively common, they are susceptible to some complication which warrants us to take an emergency surgical resolution. Once the pathology has been diagnosed the management is always the extraction of the foreign body, with the use of the different techniques that merit the frame and help the extraction of it and improve the morbidity of the patient.
