Abstract

The debate on an optimization for the extraction and artisanal exploitation of natural resources in the country makes it possible to put in context a latent reality that is experienced on a day-to-day basis and that generates controversy in the application of the laws, which generates an exacerbated controversy in favor and against it, considering in this regard the constitutional provisions in the Republic of Ecuador. In this work, a field and bibliographic investigation was carried out, the same that allowed to verify in the same place of the facts and to have photographic evidence of the negative effect that this extraction process has, the same that does not respect the most elementary criterion of protection of the environment, it was also based on primary and secondary information; During the field work, dialogues were established through interviews, meetings and on-site observation, among the main conclusions it is determined that if respect for nature and the extraction of resources is compatible, but in an orderly manner, maintaining the balance of the sector so that it is not quickly affected and a close relationship can be maintained between human well-being and care for nature.
