Abstract

Introduction: Primary care (AP) as the basis of the health system has not been unscathed to the process related
to Covid 19 infection, professionals at Community level have provided all the cross-cutting knowledge to
address the high rates of contagion present in the population.


Objective: To set out the fundamentals of intervention strategies at the social level to reduce the transfer of
this fearsome disease.


Material and methods: Research was conducted on the subject of Covid 19, through a bibliographic review,
developing a process of triangulation of data, scientific articles and bibliographic reviews were collected in
the databases of indexed journals, PubMed, Elsevier, The Lancet, Springer, Jama, New England Journal of
Medicine.


Results: The research carried out allowed to define the fundamental aspects related to the Community strategy
for the systematic work of the risk of disease, various components were identified that guarantee an integrated
approach to the health and quality of life of the population.


Conclusions: The fundamentals of community strategies for the confrontation with Covid 19 are defined,
which are identified as: factors related to subjects and communities, governments, businesses, health systems,
community participation and the lifestyle of subjects.
