Hernia Diafragmática Congénita: A Propósito de un Caso
Main Article Content
Abstract
Congenital diaphragmatic hernia occurs when the abdominal contents protrude into the thoracic cavity due to an alteration in the embryological development of the diaphragm. We report the case of a neonate congenital diaphragmatic hernia diagnosed in our service. The hernia produced signs of respiratory distress while remaining in joint accommodation, stabilized with oxygen support for surgical management in a third level hospital, where it is submitted to surgical repair with good evolution and without dependence on oxygen.
