quiste gigante de ovarioIntroduction: Ovarian tumors are not as frequent as those of the uterus and breast, but they constitute the third group of benign and malignant tumors in women, with an incidence of 1.5/100,000 women in Western countries such as Spain and the United States. and 38/100,000 in Japan.
Objective: To present two clinical cases on Ovarian Serous Cystadenomas and their clinical-surgical, imaging and histopathological correlation.
Materials and methods: Descriptive, retrospective study, clinical case presentation at the “Hospital Básico Neuro - Salud", cases that were managed by the entire multidisciplinary team.
Results: Description of two patients diagnosed with ovarian cystadenomas that, after surgery, the first case was a serous cystadenoma, while the second case was a muscinous cytoadenoma.
Conclusion: Giant ovarian cystadenomas have a clinical, surgical, imaging and pathological correlation, they are not as frequent as those of the uterus and those of the breast, but they constitute the third group of benign and malignant tumors in women. The cases were presented due to how infrequent they are, the low frequency of reporting these cases, which provides knowledge to the medical community on the subject.
